Welcome...and Whaaaaahoooo!
Jeff McDonald -
My perspective for B-School Buddha has been shaped by living and working in Asia for over 10 years! Some might say I've been "globalized".
My goal with the "B-School Buddha" blog is to bring you the freshest business perspectives from the Far East with my Western, B-School slant. I write about what's happening in Asia - culture, business, government, travel - how it relates to the world and how we can take the best bits from the East and West, squish them together and make the world even flatter.
The world surely isn't round anymore but I don't believe it is truly flat yet....the differences in culture, political environment and business practices are huge. Let's say the world is LUMPY!
I comment on what's similar and what's different and how you can navigate and leverage those global lumps. I hope these posts will better your understanding of Asia, help your career and hopefully smooth out some of those lumps for a flatter, closer world!
And like this random friend I met on the Great Wall of China, a closer, less lumpy world makes me shout, "Whaaaahooo!"
